I shop at the local Giant Eagle, even though it's more expensive than some other stores, for 2 reasons:
1. It's closest to my home
2. They offer baby rewards
The baby rewards program is awesome. I buy 8 cans of Alli's formula, I get a $25 gift certificate. Buy $25 in Gerber or Playtex products, or buy $50 in Huggies or Pampers, get a $5 gift certificate. It's not hard to earn rewards, and they pay off quick. So basically I was saving money by shopping there.
I get an email today saying no more baby rewards come the end of June. So poo on you Giant Eagle. I will go to Toys R' Us to save $1 on each can of formula. And I will take my $100+ a week and go to Market Basket or The WalMart (but only at insane hours because I hate that place), and save on my grocery bill.
I hope you get to save money by not giving people rewards. But you just lost all my money.
