Ok, I was listening to the radio and they are playing Christmas carols, specifically Up on the Housetop. It occurred to me how dated Christmas carols really are. Example:
Next comes the stocking
Of little Will
Oh, just see what
A glorious fill
Here is a hammer
And lots of tacks
Also a ball
And a whip that cracks

First, Santa is going to get sued, because the kid is going to hurt himself with that hammer. The tacks are a choking hazard. The ball might ok, but I just know he is going to hit little Nell with that whip.

Not to mention how pissed the kid is going to be that he didn't get a Playstation 3, or at least new games for his PSP.
