I wanted to write about my weekend and had a complete brain cramp about what I did on Friday. Oh yeah, Tom was working and I played excessive amounts of Mortal Kombat on the Xbox. I kick ass.

Saturday we went to his cousin's b-day party. I'll never understand this obesession with having huge parties anytime anyone even farts. The kid turned 4. Big deal. Why do we need tents, 11 roasters plus trays of food, two birthday cakes, and two cars to haul the presents in? You can't even sit on the furniture in the house because the room is so loaded with toys and there's stacks of stuff everywhere. Of course, this same part of the family bought his 10-year-old cousin a horse and had it at the house. (The interest in the horse lasted about 6 months.) Spoiled much? Oh, and the kid's birthday isn't even until November, but he wanted a pool party, so there you go. Then we went to my parent's place for cake and ice cream. Death by chocolate, it was.

Saturday night we decided at 11:00pm that we were going out. So we closed the club, then went to our friend's place for a bonfire. My friend Matt was there and he was telling us that he wrecked his bike on Thursday. I think he was bummed because he was very huggy. That's ok though, because his cologne is yummy, so I was sniffing my shirt the whole way home. Tom thinks this is a strange habit. We got home at 4:00 am.

Sunday I slept, obviously. Did some boring stuff around the house and hid from the world. I think I overdosed on people on Saturday. Did you know it was possible to overdose on people? I just tinkered with some graphics and played more Mortal Kombat and was happy as a clam. I shipped Tom off with Tony for the day, so I had the house all to myself.

The guy came today to put new doors in my house. So hopefully I'll have pretty new doors when I get home from work. And hopefully my mother-in-law will be gone.
